Igloo Games!

This page is for any igloo games anyone’s made up. Send me an email and I will post the idea if I like it! For now, I have some good ones.

Puffle Rescue

This is a great game that’s fun for all! Based off the blue puffle level of Puffle Rescue. Created by Jennys729.

The two hockey nets at the bottom are for holding rescued puffles. I’m at the keyboard, and my mailbox is overstuffed with reports from other rescuers!

How to Play:

  1. Set up the Igloo as shown. At the very least, you need to have something to serve as puffles and something blue for the floor to look like the ocean.
  2. Penguins may only walk on the red rugs, the bases for baseball (found in the Sports Catalog) and blue carpeting already put down. (All wall decorations are optional.)
  3. The object of the game is for each penguin playing to collect as many puffles as possible. To catch a puffle, they must make their way to it and say “Rescued!” Igloo owner may change the course to make it easier or harder. Igloo owner must also place the “puffle” in the penguin’s specific spot.
  4. Each penguin playing has a specific spot on the lower level of the igloo. This is the spot where all the puffles a penguin captures goes to. Any puffle that has not been captured or there is an argument over who captured it, the puffle goes into the hockey nets. (A referee may be helpful.) Each time a penguin gets a puffle, the penguins must go back to the beginning of the course.
  5. The game ends when all the puffles are captured. The penguin with the most puffles wins. (If there is a tie, place some puffles out on the field for a tie breaker round.

Variations:

  1.
    • Timed Rescue: Penguins have a certain amount of time to get as many puffles as possible. If a penguin has trouble typing quickly, they can wave when they get a puffle. Whoever has the most puffles wins.
    • Red vs. Blue: Penguins divide up into two teams: Red and Blue. They dress that color or turn that color. The teams must work together to get as many puffles as possible. Whichever side gets most wins. (It might be helpful to have a referee and an odd number of puffles on the field.)
    • Maze Rescue: Igloo owner sets up a maze and one penguin at a time goes through it. Penguins, again, may only walk on normal carpeting or red carpeting. If a blue carpet gets in their way, that’s a dead end. Once the penguin gets the puffle in the maze, they must walk back through the maze to get the beginning again! Variation: Send Red and Blue teams out to get the puffle marked with their team color.
    • Capture the Puffle: Divide the igloo into two sides. Two teams- most likely Red and Blue have a puffle to protect. Team members can cross the line to get the enemy’s puffle, but can also get out if hit with a snowball. A jail must be made on each side. A penguin can get their team members out by running in the jail and getting out safely. This penguin is also at risk of being hit. Once a penguin gets to a puffle, they wave and the igloo owner moves that puffle to the other side. (A referee would be very helpful.) (Jails can possibly be made out of hockey nets.)
    • Puffle Hunt: Igloo owner puts out a jumble of stuff and hides the puffle somewhere in there. The owner then gives clues as to where it is. The first penguin to figure out its location correctly wins.

A very fun game to play!
